AWO Services During COVID-19 Pandemic

The rapidly changing situation and conditions due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic have resulted in the AWO Refugee and Immigrant Service suspending all in-person services.

AWO’s highest priority is to protect the health and well-being of our clients, staff, and the wider community. All of our main locations and itinerant location services will be closed until further notice.

Temporarily suspended programming includes:

  • In-person appointments;
  • LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) classes;
  • Information sessions, workshops, and all in-person/group programming; and
  • Income Tax Clinics

Settlement workers will be working remotely to serve you via the phone and online.
